What this event is about
Thanks for your interest in our event! The Movember Cornhole Tournament was originally created as a fun way for Vacaville FD 3501 members to get together, have fun, play Cornhole, and recognize men’s heath awareness issues that male Firefighters are prone to. The issues we face as male Firefighters include prostate and testicular cancer, as well as suicide, and we recognize these issues with the colors of light blue, lavender, and yellow, which are identified in our logo. In the few years that we’ve been doing this, the tournament has grown, and we are now offering various tickets and sponsorship levels in the tournament for support of our cause! The tournament will be held at the Solano Brewing Company on December 7th, 2024. The venue is family friendly, and will have plenty of drinks, food, and fun throughout the day!
The competition explained
The ‘Competitive’ tournament bracket will include a team ticket for two players to compete for CASH PRIZES. Your $150 entry fee will get you into a 64-team bracket, to compete for $1,500, $1,000, and $500 cash prizes that will be awarded to first, second, and third place winners respectively. Expect to bring your best Cornhole skills, because you might be up against pro-level players!
The ‘Backyard’ tournament bracket will include a team ticket for two players to be entered into a 32-team tournament, which is designed for casual Cornhole players. In this bracket, you will be competing for awesome speaker prizes, and cash for the winner. First place - "JBL party box 110 bluetooth speaker" plus $500.00. Second place - "JBL party box 110 bluetooth speaker". Third place - "JBL charge 5 bluetooth speaker".

To help us make our event successful, we’re looking for sponsors!
Depending on your level of sponsorship, you will get up to 4 sets of competition-level cornhole boards made with your company’s logo, which will be played on the day of the event that you’ll get to take home. There will also be signage posted about the tournament grounds with your company’s logo, and depending on your level of sponsorship, your company could be the co-host of the event, which means that your company’s logo would then be on every flyer, banner, and sign up to and on the day of the event! Also, depending on your sponsorship level, you may get gift cards to be used at the brewery on the day of the event or afterwards. What else to expect
This is a family-friendly event. You can expect fun and games for people of all ages at the event. There will be plenty of food/food trucks, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be raffles for cash and cool prizes. There will be a silent auction with vacations, wine packages, art, and other cool items available. This is a fun-filled day, and we will be assisted by the professionals from the CCA (California Cornhole Association), assisting us with hosting/MC-ing the event. We want to make this a great experience for all who attend!
Who this benefits
The proceeds from this event will benefit the Northbay Cancer Center. The Mission of the Vacaville City Firefighter’s Charity Fund is to benefit those local to Vacaville, and what better way than to benefit those fighting cancer locally? All proceeds, and every dollar earned from the event will be donated back to the community, back to the Northbay Cancer Center. Please help us raise as much money as possible and help those battling cancer locally!
